If the laser of the fiber optic fault locator is very intense, but signs of looseness are visible when plugging in the fiber optic jumper, it may be that the red light is not coupled into the fiber optic and no light is displayed at the other end of the fiber. This indicates that the ceramic sleeve is damaged and should be replaced with a new one.

4. Most ceramic cores used in red light pens are 7mm in diameter. If you are unsure, consider consulting the original device manufacturer or purchasing and testing a ceramic package (5mm+7mm). There is only one type of metal head. Please confirm this point before purchasing.
