How to connect the SG90 micro servo to an Arduino Uno?
The connection to Arduino is very straightforward. The servo motor has three wires. The brown wire is the ground, which connects to the Arduino ground.
The red wire is VCC, which typically requires a voltage between 4.8 to 7.2 volts. Therefore, connect it to the Arduino 5V.
The last wire, the orange one, is the control signal which must be a PWM signal with a period of 20 milliseconds, also known as 50 Hertz
and a duty cycle of 1 to 2 milliseconds, meaning 5 to 10 percent.
A pulse width of 1 millisecond corresponds to the -90° position of the motor shaft, 1.5 milliseconds represents the 0° position, and
2 milliseconds represents the +90° position. This indicates that you can rotate the shaft a total of 180°.
