All hardware is meticulously machined from solid brass, which ensures incredible intricacy and weight. The plate is made from a 1.5 mm solid brass sheet, designed to fit exceptionally close to the wall.
Antique brass is referred to as a ‘living’ finish because it reacts with the surrounding air and moisture, causing it to darken (especially in areas frequently touched). We have enhanced this effect by aging it by hand, giving it an authentic antique appearance right out of the box.
