A retractable switch returns to the top 'off' position when released. You can use it for devices such as doorbells or garbage disposals. Alternatively, pair it with a dimmer module to adjust the lighting. Press and hold to brighten the lights, then press and hold again to dim them.
The subtle details in solid brass on the switch are finished with antique brass. Antique brass is known as a 'living' finish because it reacts with the surrounding air and moisture, causing it to darken, especially in areas frequently touched. We have given it a head start by aging it by hand, so it has an antique appearance the moment you unbox it.
The small amount of matte plastic surrounding the rocker comes in black (as shown) or white.
