What should you do with a bucket full of mice?
If the trap is meant to be lethal, simply fill the bucket halfway with water. Otherwise, leave it empty and release the animals at a distance from your home after each catch. Let nature take its course.
Does the bait fall in with the mouse? Would I need to reload it every time?
The bait is not placed on the sliding surface (the flap). The bait, peanut butter, is applied to the underside of the "tunnel." This way, the balance of the sliding surface is not disturbed, and the bait remains in place for an extended period.
