Rynx | Practical simple welding rods

The easiest way to join aluminum parts - no expensive tools are required. You only need a propane torch and some easy-melting soldering rods.

No flux or harmful fumes are required for the soldering process (however, you can use flux if you believe it improves soldering quality). These soldering rods provide a long-lasting connection that is stronger than the material itself and securely joins both thin and thick objects. They feature excellent corrosion resistance and cause little to no distortion of the base material.

Soldering Instructions:

1. Thoroughly clean the area to be soldered with a stainless steel brush until it is shiny. Then evenly heat the area.
2. Press the rod firmly against the hot spot while heating until the rod begins to melt.
3. Please note: Never apply heat directly to the rod as it becomes brittle. If you try to melt the rod directly, the solder joint may easily break. Remember, direct melting of the rod is improper technique and can produce brittle solder joints.

• Recommended for soldering aluminum alloys: 1060, 1350, 3003, 3004, 3005, 5005, 5050, 6053, 6061, 6951, 7005 as well as casting alloys 710.0 and 711.0
• Applications include loading decks, loading ramps, docks, diamond plates, irrigation lines, engine blocks, gear housings, and more.
• Suitable for smaller repairs. For repairs that pose a safety risk, we recommend replacing the affected parts completely rather than repairing them.
