APPLICATION TIPS:

• Match the bit diameter to the width of the mortise hole.
• Start at each end of the hole, chiseling from the ends toward the center.
• After working on the ends, proceed to the middle.
• The growth direction of the wood grain and the type of wood determine how easily the chisel penetrates.
• Clean the inside of the mortise hole and level any high spots using sandpaper and wood files.
• Once complete, your mortise hole is ready for dry fitting.
