This fast-acting DuoCide tackles over 50 common grass pests, including larvae, ticks, fire ants, and fleas. With a distinct formulation that incorporates both bifenthrin and carbaryl, DuoCide targets grass pests both above and below the soil with just one application. DuoCide also boasts The Andersons' patented dispersible granule (DG) technology, which simplifies spreading and enhances efficacy. Thanks to DG technology, DuoCide granules disintegrate upon contact with water, dispersing into thousands of microparticles that permeate through the grass and into the soil for optimal performance. Application rates for DuoCide vary from 2–8 kg/1000 sq. ft., depending on the pests that need to be controlled. Refer to the chart below for more details. The ideal timing for application is contingent on the specific pests being targeted. For surface pests (ants, spiders, beetles, chinch bugs, etc.), treat as soon as the pests or signs of grass damage are first noticed. For subterranean pests (white grubs, June beetles, etc.), apply 10–14 days post egg-laying activity and/or when initial grass damage is observed. Please consult the DuoCide label for complete information. Watering Required DuoCide must be watered in immediately after application. Upon contact with water, DuoCide granules will spread into thousands of microparticles, moving the active ingredients through the grass layer and into the soil. Wait until watering is finished and the area has dried before allowing pets or people to return.
